	Interview with My Chemical Romance Do you consider yourselves a metal band? Gerard Way: Metal is a big influence. if you think about the power, the screaming, the guitars etc then it is quite metal but it sounds like punk to me. Mikey Way: We're also metal in the sense that we've have alot of metal on our insrtruments and i have quite alot on my belt buckle as well.
